Wow, I hope that your children were all able to get out and enjoy some time outside on such a beautiful day!
This morning we each chose the endangered animal that we are going to be focusing on and did a large drawing of it. Some of us even go to the painting stage! Have your child tell you the animal that they are focusing on and see if you can figure out why this animal is on the endangered list!
“The Little One” is the story we read this morning. It is about a Red-Tailed monkey and his “mama”. Ask your child to retell you this story. See if they can tell you who the monkey’s mama is and what happened to his real mother.
We had music with Mrs. Dennill this morning. In class the students are focusing on music dynamics. See if your child can tell you what the words fortissimo means?
**Please note on June 1st we will be going on the fish release field trip to Strathmore Children’s Pond. Since this field trip will take place around water we will need a higher number that usual number of volunteers. If you are able to please pencil us in for this day.**
