Happy Earth Day!!
This morning we spent our time talking about the earth. We spoke about our responsibilities around having to protect “mother earth” and reverse the damage that has been done. We read a story called “Children of the Earth . . . Remember”. Have your child retell this story to you and explain the relationship between the earth, the animals and the people. We used our hands to create art about earth day. Ask your child to explain this process. As a family talk, about ways that you already reduce, reuse and recycle in your home. Identify an area that you feel that as a family you could be doing better at. Post your family’s goal to the blog.
**Please remember to send back RSVP forms if you are planning to attend the Volunteer Tea.**
